Working Towards Total Wellness
Over the past 2-3 years I had allowed myself to get substantially off track when it came to my fitness and wellness. As I completed the transition to working exclusively from home, it became more sedentary. The refrigerator was more accessible to me, and I stopped making good food choices because of all the junk food we had available in the house.
On December 6, 2005 I decided to change that. We cleared out the cabinets in the house of all the junk food, and I began working on making some lifestyle changes including exercise and a properly balanced nutritional plan. From December 6 through today I have lost a total of 40 pound, but more importantly, my energy level has been incredible during that time, because the program I am following is not a “diet” program, rather it’s a totally balanced nutrition program. Eating the way the body was meant to take in nutrients, and using high quality nutritional supplements to provide what’s not in our regular meals is making a big difference for me. I’m glad I chose to make this commitment at this time. It was easier than I thought it would be.
Now, I don’t feel like such a hipocrate by operating a fitness website and failing to follow my own advice.
