I Hate New Year’s Resolutions!
I’m getting started on my so called “New Year’s Resolution” right now, mostly because I hate the idea of waiting until the beginning of a new year to do something important. I think the entire concept creates the excuse most people are looking for not to take action right now.
Think about it. If you know you need to lose weight, and it’s April, are you going to wait until January to do something about it? What happens when you’ve fallen off the horse in February? Are you going to wait until next year to try again.
For me, everyday is a new beginning, and if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing today. So, instead of starting something new in the New Year, try starting a “new year” when you starting something new! But, please don’t use the ability to start anytime you like as the next excuse to never get it done!
P.S. I’ll tell you what the resolution is in a post later this weekend. I’m working on fine tuning it to allow me to really take action on it.
